Lex? Son? Why are you wearing a hoodie?
Oct. 9th, 2003 04:29 pmSorry. Just can't get over the hoodie. He's so cute.
I just have to say that Michael Rosenbaum is brilliant. Brilliant and wonderful. I just adore him.
Not as extraordinary as Exile, but still good. Of course, Exile was nursing some pretty drastic withdrawal symptoms.
I really liked the opening father-son squabble, all tearing things up. I especially liked it when Bo grabbed Clark by the pants. And, as if it hasn't been said enough, I love it when Clark rips his shirt off. Shh - no one remind him that he's Superman, not the Incredible Hulk. And I'm glad to see that he didn't lose all his balls along with the ring this time. I liked seeing him rough Edge up on the farm. He's sexy when he's angry. And wet. Nice.
I love Martha.
Lex with a gun! Lex with a gun! How disturbing is it that I find that soooo hot!
Chloe is also hot. Even with weird hair. I like the way she says "Clark." And while we're on the subject of the way people say names, Helen says "Lex" like she has a bad case of phlegm. Why won't that bitch die?!?!
Ninja!Lana strikes again...and kills...and later behaves like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Of course, she's used to people around her dying. I'm very grudgingly coming around to the Lana camp. I hate it. I'm dragging my heels. And I'm using her whiny "did you even miss me?" crap to help me slow the process.
Excuse me a moment while I bask in the glory of the Clex reunion!!! Complete with sappy music as they rushed toward each other, the only way it could have been slashier is if it had been in slow mo or there had been tongue. Heh, heh - Lex said, "...if you stare at it long enough, it can get hard..." He said something after that, but I forget what...
Gut. Wrenching. Anguish. Heart. Cleft. In. Twain. The hug! I'm just going to pretend that Lex isn't playing his father or keeping his enemy close enough to watch, and I'm going to just snuggle up to the woobie-ness of that scene. Awkward, unsure, vulnerable...and all scratched up. Then he closed his eyes. *sniff* Excuse me...I...I think I have something in my eye...
