Dear Smallville writers,

I would like to personally thank you for not disappointing me with this episode. I waited so long, and, I admit, I was really nervous. Let's face it - you don't have the best track record. But I was not disappointed. Thanks for not sucking.

Oh, and another thing - any time you want to have Lex half-naked for the entire episode, I am completely on board with that.

Love,

First of all - Tom Welling just jumped mountains in my book. He really can act. Bless his heart. I especially liked the scene with him and Bo Kent in Lionel's office, particularly when dad touched his chest and Clark gave him that, "Watch yourself, there..." look. And during the first scene, I was concerned that his beauty and rugged confidence would even overtake my lust for MR. But more on that later...

*rolls eyes* Did they really need to put him in the phone booth? Oozing with cheese. I seemed to have gotten over that quickly, though, since he ripped his shirt off...we gotta have more of that. And there must be a way for Normal Clark to take on Kal's confidence, because that was extremely appealing to me. You know - without all the bastardliness that goes along with it.

Heh, heh. Matrix!Clark returns.

I like the way they turned the Lex symbol in the cave to the view of the island. Nice touch. And only a little cheesy. They should do more things like that.

And now we come down to it. Lex on the beach.

*takes a moment of silence, and a big breath*

Love the intensity...nice ass shot as he crawled toward Louis...heh, heh - "stripped down to his bare essence"...HOYAY with Louis - at least we know he lurves himself...and why couldn't his pants have fallen down just once? That's all I ask...

I was a little distracted by the Sorority Boys flashbacks in my head. The eating the grubs. The way he said, "Why don't you go work on the raft?" General exaggerated facial expressions. Made me giggle.

I want to see more interaction between Helen and the MB. Before she meets her fiery death, which I demand must happen. But I liked the Lionel/Helen scenes.

This is a little embarrassing for me. You remember my student who loves Lana? Well, he told me why he likes her on Tuesday - he has a thing for Lolita's. So I'm sitting there last night, minding my own business, and she comes on the screen. Then, I gasp in horror as I hear my Benedict Arnold mind think, "Hmm...that was a Lolita moment."

NOOOOO!!! I don't want to find Lana interesting! He's poisoned me!

*exhales, refreshed* That felt so good.
