Hmmm...now, what to say?

I have not had good coffee in a week and a half. As soon as the money hits my account on Friday, that's the first thing I'm buying. I've discovered that I can do without it. I've also discovered that life is too short to do so. Yay for discovery.

One of the RA's birthday was yesterday. He turned 25. I gave him a quarter and congratulated him on completing a quarter of a century. I also sat through the highlights of their intramural football game that they won tonight, and wow - I really do not give a rat's ass about football. I do, however, give a rat's ass about how excited they get about it. So funny. Hours of entertainment.

*jumps on bandwagon* My feelings about the upcoming Smallville season? Yay. I'd say more, but I'm officially turning off my brain.

Wow. Twenty minutes until three and students are doing laundry. They must love it as much as I do.

*shivers* I may have to make UNT coffee in a minute. It's a friggin' tundra in here. *aside* UNT coffee is the nastiest thing that I've ever tasted. OK, next to pot pie. But seriously - it's like making a mud pie...and then drinking it.

Kevin the Creepy Brass Eagle Statue is peering menacingly at me. Then again, it could be my imagination.

For the last four weeks, I've been trying to figure out where I know one of my students from. She looked so familiar. I found out tonight that she's an RA at one of the other dorms. Guess I won't be getting the Most Observant award this year.

I wish the tree in the lobby would just die. It was about half dead when I started, and now it's almost all gone. Yet two limbs hang on, defying death. It must have been inspired by our intramural t-shirt slogan - "SFT Ghosts - the spirit that never dies" (I know. Don't get me started.).

Not much else to report (you know, because this entry has already been chock full of useful information). Classes? Good. Desk job? Good. UNT coffee? Soooo bad, but perhaps necessary.

I made tea because I couldn't find filters, but I just get tired of tea. One or two cups, and I'm at the end. Plus, I don't like tea by itself - I have to add sugar - and that makes my teeth feel yucky.

So what's worse? Bad coffee or no coffee?

It's a toss up. If I'm dragging, then no coffee is worse. But I have to really be dragging.

*much sympathetic horror on your behalf*

Thanks for the sympathy. I am numb with trauma. That is, if one can be numb with trauma.
