It's a bird! It's a plane!

Some randomness, just for you today (and yes, I mean you *points*).
- I just saw Clark Kent. This funny, nerdy little guy with black glasses smiled nervously and opened the door for me when I walked in the building. As he did this, he dropped half the stuff he was holding. He definitely wins the Cute as a Box of Puppies Prize today.
- When you see a sign that says "Drive Friendly," complete with cute little emoticon-esque smiley character, and, instead of being thankful for the gentle reminder and being motivated to drive friendly, your gut reaction is to shout "Bite me!" in its general direction, perhaps you should lay off the caffeine a little. Or ingest more. Whatever. Changes should definitely be made, though.
- When new equipment (a data projector, for example) sucks more than the old equipment, people should stick with the old equipment. Otherwise, it is likely that the new craptastic equipment will freak out and completely stop working in the middle of a student's speech, causing said student to forget what s/he is saying. Poor student. And the speech was going so well, too.
- When the review sheet says "essay exam," it is to be expected (i.e., not a surprise) that one will have to write answers out. No, this does not require a scantron.
- Yay! Smallville tonight! I am so confused by Lex's emails. I aspire to be spoiled; I'm just not very good at it.
- My dad rules all.
- I get to be Karla's (my friend who sells homemade gourmet - some of you experienced the wonders of their cappuccino mixes this past holiday season) lovely assistant this weekend at a trade show. I make a good assistant. I should print up business cards, pimping myself out. Wait...that doesn't sound right...
- *kicks tax season a little bit*
- Off to class to hear more speeches. This class is usually pretty good, so I'm looking forward to them!

Date: 2005-04-14 07:00 pm (UTC)I was tempted (only momentarily, of course) to ram into it, but I thought that might take more time than just verbally abusing it, so I refrained.
