Yay! Clay was so cute on Regis and Kelly this morning. Is it wrong that I want his memoirs for Christmas? Is he even old enough to have memoirs?
OK, WB, we get it. Public service announcement - one night stands are bad, kids.
But shirtless Lex = not bad. Rawr. He's so easy. He finds out that they share a love of gay bar dance mixes, and he's game. So many troubles in his life happen because he gets bored too easily.
The Best Line of the Episode came early this time. "You're paying me to get you off, not to prove you're innocent, but you have to be straight with me." Heh. "I'm not here to hold your hand, Lex." Yeah, Lex. She's here to get you off. Do try to keep up. *is twelve*
"Clark," *cue confirming arm cuppage* "I met a girl - she meant nothing to me..."
I am officially bored with the whole reincarnated witch motif. One week was enough, thanks.
Momentary recanting of Clark-likeage to vent - Clark's such a dumbass. Lionel shows one sign of improvement, and he's willing to believe that he's completely changed. WTF?!? It's pretty damn obnoxious of him to think that his being inside someone for a while can make them a better person. If that were the case, Lex would be a saint by now. I don't care if the writers agree. *smites the writers a little bit* But he's still not sure that he can trust Lex? I wanted to hit him after that "I don't want you to tell me anything - I want you to change," not so much because of what he said, but that he thinks he has the right to say it. Uh, Clark? Let's not forget all the little things that you think Lex doesn't know about you because you've been pretty secretive yourself. /momentary recanting
They call her the barracuda. Wonder if she does the dance?
Aw, Clark's jealous. How quaint and predictable. And definitely not gay at all. *nods solemnly but sarcastically*
I love it when Lex talks about his own ass. The sadist in me also doesn't mind him tied up with duct tape. I'd stalk him.
Chloe's bad and cute. "Let's re-enact the event." *snickers* When she wondered if the earring had fallen down the crack, and Clark got that intense "I'm about to see through shit" look, I half expected her to say, "Not MY crack, Clark! The one to the elevator shaft!"
Ride-'em-Cowboy Clark made me laugh. Heartily. And not in a "oh, what a unique way to do that" way. I'm sure it was a great idea on paper.
I loved the Lex/Lionel scene at the end. As always, I love it when they have scenes together. They play on each other's strengths well.
You hear that, Smallville fans? Lex pleads - "Don't give up on me yet!" How could anyone think he's bad?

Right. And when he said to Lex, "There's a whole side of you I don't know about", it was all I could do to not hurl the dog's squeaky toy at the screen. J-Boy couldn't supress an angry mutter of "Likewise" directed at Mr. Sanctimonious Flannel-Pants.
I still liked the ep, I was just unhappy with Clark (imagine that). Sometimes he's downright hostile and patronizing to Lex. (sometimes?)
Gee, I also loved how Lex admits thoughts of, if not suicide, a death wish, and Clark has nary a thought of concern or comfort. Um, Superman wants to help people in trouble, doesn't he? Or did I miss the memo?
Still...Lex = HOT! I'd fuck him for a pair of diamonds. Who wouldn't? *g*
