Funniest damn book EVER

Ok, so I know this is the second entry about this book, but I have to tell you - Why Girls Are Weird is the funniest book I have ever read. Go out and buy it. No, seriously. Right now. Stop reading and go buy it.

I am so making the phrase "Hot damn on a biscuit" a consistent part of my vocabulary. On occasion, I, of course, will have to add "I'm a sexy bitch" to it. Then I will erupt into peals of laughter when I picture Hugh Grant saying it. (If this paragraph doesn't make sense, you didn't stop reading to go buy the book. Shame on you.)

I had to put the book down in class because my students were taking their final and it just doesn't do to have the instructor cackle suddenly when you're trying to take a test. And one should never, ever drink hot coffee while reading it. I don't care if it is Gevalia Jamaican Blue Mountain - hot coffee through the nose is not pleasant.

In other news - squee!! *stops typing to turn cartwheels, twist ankle, and fall on her ass* I get to go to Michael Rosenbaum's little hockey game on the 17th with Margat and her mom!!!! Oh, yes, and others are playing, too. Whatever. I'll probably be in the nosebleeds, but I am equipped with zoom lens, so I'm content. There has been speculation about "what happens if Margat gives birth at the game?" Is it wrong that my gut reaction to that is - "Hey, that would get his attention!" ?

*sigh* I forgot to tape the Amazing Race tonight. Hope leaving has screwed up my TV viewing habits. First week that I won't get to watch it with her. *sigh*
