Public service announcement - when you have to give a public presentation - USE NOTE CARDS!!!!!! Paper is so rattly and distracting and silly-looking.

Well, Rachael (my car) is in the shop, preparing for her long trek up to Kansas City. Thanks to my lovely sister who let me borrow her car to come to work and to Hope who has been toting me around otherwise. You guys rock the casbah.

What to do for the 4th.....such a grand decision. I'll probably just hang out on Fouts Field and watch the fireworks like I did last year. Or maybe I'll sit on my balcony in my pajamas and watch them from afar. Yeah. That sounds better. I'm open to suggestions and ideas....

Pretty standard, boring day. I'm in a minimalizing mood, so I'm cleaning out my books this afternoon and doing away with those that I have never/will never read. Still, it's like selling my children almost. You know, if I had children.

Nope - no game. Sorry. There was very little interest, and one of the people who coordinated it in the past is one of the ones getting married this summer, and I was not really interested enough to put forth the effort, so it didn't happen. You can still come and spend the weekend if you want, though. We'll find some mischief to get into. :)
